I wanted to take a moment and thank you for your business over the past few years. It’s hard to believe Vortex Learning Solutions is over 25 years old! Many of you may remember our real “data systems” days. It’s been both a challenge and a lot of fun to grow and evolve over the years. I want you to know that I appreciate just how loyal and supportive you all have been through it all. So, once again, thank you so much!

Even as the industry and the markets have changed, so have we. You may have noticed that we don’t make a lot of formal announcements, but I wanted to take this opportunity to bring you up to date on a couple of significant changes.

Last year I purchased Vortex from Paul Christiansen. Having made the commitment to Vortex as a top manager for over 1o years, I jumped at the opportunity to acquire Vortex and continue all the great things we have been accomplishing. We will be adding some new and surprising touches at Vortex in order to keep growing in interesting and exciting ways.

I’ve worked with and know most of you personally and I appreciate your support and ongoing business. Those customers I have not had the pleasure of personally meeting yet, I look forward to meeting and seeing you in classes or while attending some of our terrific seminars and user groups hosted by Vortex.

Most of you have long since dropped the “data systems” in referring to Vortex, preferring to just say things like, “I got my training at Vortex”. We will always be “Vortex” but, today I am announcing our official new name - Vortex Learning Solutions! I think you will agree that this captures what we are all about - “learning” and “solutions”.

We truly see learning, for our corporate customers, in the context of business solutions. Please be aware that we have updated our web site address to reflect this new name - www.VortexLearningSolutions.com. (You will, of course, continue to be able to use the old URL indefinitely) And to make things simple, we have also changed our e-mail domain to @vortexls.com.

On July 30th our official business name will be Vortex Learning Solutions. All of our other information such as; our tax id, etc., will remain the same. This is just the beginning of new and exciting things taking place at Vortex- we are constantly adding new classes that will not only be for IT departments but, also for the entire business.
